Description

Flowerbomb, an explosion of freshness at Viktor & Rolf

The latter have always expressed a mad desire to innovate and surprise. Also, when they decided to go into perfumery in 2005, they did not stray from their line of conduct. This is how the Flowerbomb female pomegranate made its appearance!

Viktor & amp; Rolf’s first juice

Flowerbomb appeared just 10 years after the launch of the Viktor & amp; Rolf brand. It is thus perceived as a sort of consecration celebrating a milestone anniversary. Also, it absolutely had to be in the image of the Viktor & amp; Rolf house: surprising, refined and explosive. When its creators introduced it, they said, “It’s called Flowerbomb. This first perfume tells of our desire to amaze, to surprise, while forging links with women for whom dreams and life face each other. A perfume is a gesture, a sensation. A perfume is the open door to the marvelous… A question of skin, of contact, of emotions. Live magic. In other words, Viktor & amp; Rolf had the firm intention with Flowerbomb to touch women in the heart. “We envisioned Flowerbomb as an ideal in the measure of the heart,” said Viktor & amp; Rolf. Thus, it is an invitation to dream and to imagine. This combines multiple opposites and interweaves them as if to explode a bouquet of sensations. Flowerbomb is all at the same time: rigor and fantasy, truth and unreal, here and elsewhere, past and present, measure and excess.

The gourmet femininity of Flowerbomb

Flowerbomb is a fragrance that surprises from the vision of its bottle. This is clearly displayed as a weapon of mass seduction. Indeed, Viktor & amp; Rolf has chosen to enclose its perfume in a kind of pomegranate to unpin. The latter then releases its scent like a flower bomb. The whole thing remains very elegant, embedded in a setting with the sparkle of a diamond. The whole shines like a flamboyant prism. Flowerbomb is then surmounted by a rose gold stopper inspired by a jewel that asks only to be removed to reveal its scent to us. This was developed by Carlos Benaïm, Dominique Ropion, Domitille Berthier and Olivier Polge. Together, they made a floral, seductive and gourmet juice. The whole opens with a sparkling accord of bergamot and tea. Then, it is in her heart that the femininity of flowers takes all its power and extent. Flowerbomb reveals a generous bouquet of sambac jasmine, orange blossom, orchid, Centifolia rose and freesia. The whole is very textured, both suave and carnal. Then, Flowerbomb gradually becomes warmer and more amber. It ends with a trail of patchouli and woody accord. The whole leaves behind a balsamic and almost greedy breath. ends with a trail of patchouli and woody accord. At the origin of Flowerbomb , there is of course the Swedish stylist duo Victor & amp; Rolf, but also the three great creators of perfumes Carlos Benaïm, Domitille Bertier and Olivier Polge. By offering their very first perfume to an already conquered audience, the shocking duo with a provocative styling wanted to amaze, move and create the event. Thing is done with this Flowerbomb which definitely does not age despite these ten springs and even offers itself the luxury of a new variation for its anniversary with Flowerbomb Bloom!

Flowerbomb or the birth of Victor & amp; Rolf’s first fragrance

The designers Victor & amp; Rolf have never gone unnoticed in the little glamor of French fashion. Extravagant models, a sense of spectacle and provocation close to genius, the two Swedes have made a place for themselves in the world of haute-couture at the height of their talents. But in the 2000s, the two men launched a major new project: the creation of a Victor & amp; Rolf.

In order to put all the chances on their side for this codenamed project all found, ADDICTIVE, Victor & amp; Rolf spoke to the three great talents of the IFF house: Domitille Bertier, Olivier Polge and Carlos Benaïm. The creators started their work for Flowerbomb from notes of tea coated with flowers but very quickly, the noses will be confronted with the growing cravings for delicacies and flowers of their customers.

“It’s simple, Victor & amp; Rolf, we used to call them “Gentlemen plus”. They always wanted more flowers, more power, more addiction… ”& nbsp; tells Carlos Benaïm for Marie France about Flowerbomb.

In order to obtain the result desired by the stylists, each will work on a part of the composition, confides Carlos Benaïm: “We were not too many three noses, Carlos Benaïm for the basic chord, Domitille Bertier for the diffusion and Olivier Polge for the addictive note ”.

The Flowerbomb Viktor & amp; Rolf or the provocation of the senses…

For three years the perfumers will do more than 500 tests in order to obtain the final composition of Flowerbomb. The result of this very first perfume absolutely lives up to the grandiloquent desires of the Swedish stylist couple. Flowerbomb is unique, scandalously flowery, and utterly delicious. Addiction in its raw state.

Yet Flowerbomb is not always unanimous with the public. No matter, as long as we talk about him! Its oppositions between intense freshness and opulent flowers, flowery and graceful femininity, and animality of the oriental depths, make Flowerbomb a completely innovative perfume. However, make no mistake about it, despite its desire to provoke, Flowerbomb does not hesitate to propel in its cloud of 1001 flowers, luxurious and sought-after raw materials such as sambac jasmine, centifolia rose or Catleya orchid.

Because Flowerbomb is not only a provocative perfume, it is above all a perfume that wants to breathe the joy of living, absolute femininity and a certain notion of such timeless elegance that irremediably very modern.
