The Different Fahrenheit Dior Perfumes

If the Dior brand perfectly represents French luxury, it was born just after the Second World War, breathing a breath of freedom into women’s fashion. As early as 1947, the Dior house presented Miss Dior as a tribute to the couturier’s sister, Catherine. This first great olfactory success is only the beginning of a great story. Among the most beautiful fragrances, we note Eau Sauvage, J’Adore, Poison, Jules or more recently Joy. Fahrenheit is a masculine fragrance that was created in 1988 and that went against the trend of the era.

The warm and flowery notes of Fahrenheit Eau de Parfum

In 1988, the fashion was for hippie fragrances, patchouli and floral tones. Fahrenheit fits into the contradiction displaying a powerful scent. The fragrance indeed likes to play with opposites and paradoxes. Between past and future, Fahrenheit by Dior is a fragrance of freedom and sensuality. At the same time hot and cold, light and dark, Fahrenheit is a timeless fragrance. Powerful and racy, the composition takes off on the tangy freshness of mandarin associated with honeysuckle and hawthorn. Her heart is filled with violet flowers.

The base releases an ultra powerful accord composed of cedar, sandalwood, mastic, sytrax and leather. In the shape of a dome, the bottle features a gradient from dark red to yellow, symbolizing the rays of the sun at various times of the day, and shows that the temperature rises as the composition progresses.

A woody-leathery accord in the heart of Fahrenheit Cologne

Fahrenheit Cologne appears to be a perfectly mastered nectar. François Demachy, the official perfumer of the Dior house, affirms “I wanted to create a distinctive Cologne that is like a gateway to its powerful accords. My goal was to attract with lightness towards more abrupt notes ”. In 2016, Dior displayed a new vision of virility with Fahrenheit Cologne. The fragrance symbolizes a free man, in search of meaning and above all authenticity. Invigorating, the composition opens with the freshness of lemon, bergamot and tangerine.

Its heart combines nutmeg, cinnamon, and violet flower, thus recalling the original version. Finally, the base of the composition combines vetiver, patchouli and cedar. The bottle incorporates the main codes of its elder. However, if the red is still just as powerful, the gradient here sports a white color at the base of the bottle. It is surmounted by an opaque black cabochon, where we find the initials of Christian Dior.
